3rd annual award ceremony honoring environmental stewards
The impacts of the oil and gas industry are expanding across the United States. Thousands of volunteers work in their communities and cherished places to document, limit, and prevent harms caused by oil and gas development. The Community Sentinel Award for Environmental Stewardship honors the efforts of three of these tireless sentinels each year. Learn more about the award
This year's recipients are Ranjana Bhandari of Arlington, Texas; Frank Finan of Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania; and Ray Kemble of Montrose, PA. They will be recognized at an evening reception at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday, November 18, 2017 during the People vs. Oil and Gas Infrastructure Summit. (Note: some scholarships to attend the summit are available on an as-need basis). Admission to the reception is included with conference registration. There is no need for conference attendees to register separately for the reception.
